A commissioned order of an elegant and whimsical pig in a pear necklace.
I started with a pink wash for the background to bring out the warmth of the painting.
I then began to map out the outline of the pig with white gesso.
From there, I started to go in with oil paint, starting with the background and moving to the foreground.
I continued to build out the pig with detail and highlights.
The final product.
The final product is hanging in the client's home.
