Studio Art

My studio practice explores color, texture, and form as tools for storytelling. Through painting, I’m interested in how visual experimentation can communicate mood, movement, and emotion, often drawing inspiration from fashion, media, and everyday observation.

I am a Studio Art minor, and through this program, I have had the opportunity to take hands-on studio courses that allow me to explore painting and a range of techniques. Beginning with acrylics, I have gradually transitioned to working in oils and continue to strengthen my technical skills and material understanding.

Outside of the classroom, I apply this practice through my independent art business, LGK Art. Much of the work featured in this portfolio consists of commissioned pieces created in collaboration with clients, striking a balance between creative vision and thoughtful execution.
