Graphic Design
My graphic design work focuses on visual storytelling through layout, typography, and image-making. I’m interested in how thoughtful design can communicate identity and concept across both digital and print, often drawing inspiration from fashion, media, and brand culture.
Through coursework, internships, and independent projects, I’ve explored branding, editorial design, and promotional assets, balancing creative experimentation with clarity and strategy. Much of the work featured reflects client-based or concept-driven projects that prioritize both aesthetics and communication.

Logos and Branding
My logos and branding work was developed through ART 458, an advanced graphic design course centered on corporate brand identity development. The course focused on branding systems and identity building, exploring mark development, packaging, marketing and advertising collateral, and digital brand touchpoints.
Throughout the semester, the class revolved around applying semiotics and communication theory to the design process. These principles culminated in a comprehensive, semester-long branding project that brought together research, strategy, and visual execution to create a cohesive brand identity.
Final Project: Brand Guide
For my final project in ART 458, I applied all of my course learnings to develop a complete brand identity for an original local Madison business: Mendota Mind & Body. This fictional business blends wellness and adventure on the waters of Lake Mendota, offering students a space to recharge, reconnect, and rediscover balance through a floating sauna experience that combines nature, heat, and cold immersion.
In developing the brand, I designed a unique monogram-style logo that incorporates symbolic elements representing the natural environment and the waters of Lake Mendota. This project allowed me to synthesize research, semiotics, and visual strategy to create a cohesive and meaningful brand identity that communicates both purpose and experience.

Emma Thayer Interiors
During my internship with Emma Thayer Interiors, I designed informational and promotional pamphlets to support the business’s branding and client communication. Working with an interior design firm allowed me to align my graphic design work with my eye for aesthetics, creativity, and attention to detail, creating materials that reflected the brand’s style and vision.
